Top 10 Worst Serial Killers Of All Time - Messed Up!

You may have heard of the movies called Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scream and Silence of The Lambs. And you may be familiar with Jack The Ripper. Many of the movies were inspired in true events. What motivates serial killers? well... it's better not to know the answear.

The following is the list of the most evil and worst serial killers of all time responsible for mass murders and rapes.


10. Ted Bundy

Ted Bundy was american serial killer and rapist who was executed by electric chair in 1989. He was accused of decapitating at least 12 victims. Bundy used to approach female individuals from public places and  take them to abandoned areas where he would sexually assualt and kill them.


9. Charles Ng and Leonard Lake

From California, Charles Ng with his crime partner Leonard Lake was accused to rape, torture and murder at least 11 victims. They would record themselves raping and murdering the victims. Later on Lake commited suicide when he was caught shoplifting. Chrles Ng is currently on death row.


8. John Wayne Gacy

John Gacy executed by lethal injection in 1994 after killing 33 young boys Chicago. He would call his victims to come to his house for paid work and would eventually kill them by different techniques. It was later discovered that Gacy buried 26 of his victims under his home.


7. Andrei Chikatilo

Also known as 'The Butcher of Rustov', Andrei Chikatilo was a russian serial killer who commited the sexual assualt and murder of 52 women. Victims relatives asked the russian court to release him so that they could kill him themselves. Eventually he was sentenced to death and was executed in February 1994 by firing squad.


6. Tommy Lynn Sells

Tommy Sells is one of the worst serial killers of all time. He stabbed a 13 year old girl 16 times and commited 70 brutal murders. Sells was sentenced to death but he still remains on death row.


5. Garry Ridgway

Nicknamed as 'The Green River Killer' after dumping 5 of his 70 victim's bodies to the Green River in Washington DC. Garry Ridgway is one of the most evil killers. He avoided death penalty by providing detailed confessions and was sentenced to life impresionment. The Green River Killer was also a serial killer movie.


4. Pedro Rodrigues Filho

Pedro Rodrigues Filho is a Brazilian serial killer who murdered at least 71 people. Filho executed his own father who was also in jail. He commited his first murder when he was only 14 and by the age of 18 he had commited 10 murders. He was also related with burglaries and drug dealing. While he was serving 128 years in jail he killed  more 47 inmates which increased his sentence to 400 years.


3. Daniel Camargo Barbosa

Daniel Camargo Barbosa raped and murdered over 150 young girls in Columbia and Ecuador. He hacked all of his victims with a machete. He was sentenced to just 16 years in prison which is the maximum sentence in Ecuador. In November 1994, while Camargo was serving his sentence in prison he was murdered by the cousion of one of the vistims.


2. Dr. Harold Shipman

One ofthe worst serial killers in recorded history, Dr. Harold Shipman was a trusted english doctor in his community but the high rate of death in the area started to raise concerns. Later investigation revealed that Dr Shipman used to inject fatal doses of Diamorphine drug that killed his victims. His purpose was to inherit the large ammount of money from his victims and destroyed their bodies by cremation. He was sentenced to 15 life sentences. In January 2004, Shipman hanged himself in his cell at Wakefield Prison.


1. Pedro Alonso Lopez

Pedro Alonso Lopez was a colombian serial killer who raped and murdered more than 300 girls across South America. Lopez is without doubt the worst serial killer in recorded history. He would take his victims to secluded areas or unoccupied buildings and properties where he killed them by brutal methods. His main technique of murder was stragulation. During investigation a grave was discovered where Lopez had buried 53 bodies of his victims. In Ecuador he served only 18 years in prison. After being released he moved to Columbia where he was rearrested. In 2002, he was sentenced to life.
