 The action adventure game dveloped by Avalanche Studios required a total budget of $100 Millionand three years of work. Since the official launch ithas sold over 3 million copies.

With a team of 800 developers and a budget of $100 Million, Red Dead Redemption took five years to be developed and was launched in 2010. The game has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.

Grand Theft Auto V (five) developed by Rockstar Games won seven Guinness World Records. The best selling adventure vídeo game, best selling vídeo game and fastest vídeo game to gross $1 Billion required an estimated total of $265 Million. The game generated $810 Million within 24 hours of it's official launch worldwide and it is the second most expensive vídeo game ever developed in history. Phenomenal!


1. Destiny: $500 Million

With a astronomical budget of $500 Million, Destiny was developed by Bungie and published by Activision after 10 years of intensive work and became the most expensive vídeo game ever produced. Just note the most expensive Hollywood movie ever "Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End" cost only $300 Million.
